ATLATSA ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF ACTING CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (“CFO”) AND
APPOINTMENT OF INTERIM CFO

January 29, 2018 Atlatsa Resources Corporation (“Atlatsa” or the “Company”) (TSX: ATL; JSE: ATL)
hereby advises that Mr. Reinhardt van Wyk has resigned from his position as Acting CFO of the
Company.

“Reinhardt has led Atlatsa’s finance team through a challenging time for the Company, we thank him
for his services and wish him well in his future endeavours” said Chief Executive Officer Mr. Harold
Motaung.

Mrs. Shireen Stow has been appointed as Interim CFO of the Company, with effect from
1 February 2018.

Mrs. Stow is a South African qualified Chartered Accountant with 15 years’ experience, having worked
in various financial and auditing roles both in South Africa and the United States of America. Shireen
has been working with Atlatsa for the past three years in the Company’s finance department.
