Mr Hauptfleisch has been appointed in view of the unfortunate passing of Mr Hugh Cameron, in April 2018, who served as a board member and chairperson of the Company’s Audit and Risk Committee since May 2015. Mr Hauptfleisch has also been nominated to serve on the Company’s Audit and Risk Committee. Mr Hauptfleisch is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) and was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc for 30 years and obtained his B.Com (Acc) and B.Com Hons at UJ (formerly RAU). Mr Hauptfleisch’s varied client portfolio over the years include businesses in manufacturing, engineering, construction and chemicals, fast moving consumer goods and agriculture as well as global and multinational clients. He is a member of the Institute of Directors of South Africa and through varied client portfolios, he has gained extensive experience in group reporting structures. As a registered auditor to several JSE listed companies, he gained a lot of experience in listed company audits, including attendance of and reporting at audit committee meetings.
