requirements, being, inter alia:
- that the company must be listed and trading on the Main Board of the JSE (eligibility);
- the company must have a minimum free float of 5% and 15%, with a free float greater than the
median free float within the index (free float requirements); and
- the company’s securities must, on a monthly basis, turn-over at least 0.5% of its free float
shares, for at least ten of the preceding twelve months (liquidity).
As of December 2018, the number of shares accounted for on the South African share register for AB
InBev makes the company eligible for inclusion.

the end of 2016, driving its growth agenda in the continent while demonstrating its commitment to the
community with a focus on job creation, sustainability, nutrition and health, and responsible
consumption of alcohol. These initiatives include the development of low to no-alcohol beers to promote
moderate consumption as well as investments in brewery expansion, supporting job creation in the
region.
