Nigerian stocks dip to 5-week low
LAGOS (Reuters) - Nigerian stocks dropped to its lowest in five weeks on Thursday after heavyweight Dangote Cement declined.
Stocks have been on a losing streak since the end of May and has fallen for fourth straight days. However, losses on Dangote Cement, its most capitalised listed companies on the exchange, worsened the decline. MTN Nigeria, the exchange's second biggest capitalised company was on a back foot but later recovered.
