South Africa's Amplats expects 80 pct jump in half-year earnings
JOHANNESBURG, June 25 (Reuters) - Anglo American Platinum
(Amplats) said on Tuesday it expected its half-year

same period a year earlier.
Amplats said headline earnings for the six months ending
June 30 were expected to be 2.69 billion rand ($188 million)more
than the 3.363 billion rand earnings reported in the same
period a year ago.

($1 = 14.3250 rand)
