(“the Company”)

TRADING STATEMENT

In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that the
financial results for the period to be reported on next will differ by at least 20% from those of
the previous corresponding period.

Shareholders are advised that the Company expects the following to be reported for the year
ended 30 September 2018 (“2018 Year End Results”):

• earnings per share (“EPS”) to be between 26.51 US cents and 29.29 US cents being
  between 90.72% and 110.72% higher than the EPS for the year ended 30 September
  2017 (“the Comparative Period”) of 13.90 US cents; and
• headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) to be between 19.64 US cents and 22.16 US cents
  being between 55.87% and 75.87% higher than that for the Comparative Period of 12.60
  US cents.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or
reported on by the Company’s auditors.

The 2018 Year End Results are expected to be published on or about 18 December 2018.
