CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of JSE Limited, the board of directors of
Bauba (“the Board”) hereby notifies its shareholders that Ms Thabile Makgala has been appointed as an
independent non-executive director with immediate effect.

Thabile holds a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand as well
as an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch Business School and has dedicated close on two decades of
service to the Mining Industry. She is currently the Executive: Mining at Impala Platinum Holdings Limited
and has previously held various senior positions and served with commensurate success at Gold Fields,
Anglo Gold Ashanti and Anglo American. Her diverse professional experience includes general
management, strategy, business development and business planning.

The Board welcomes Thabile and looks forward to her contribution to the Company.
