TRADING STATEMENT

In terms of paragraph 3.4(b)(i) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders of the
Company are advised of the following expectations with regards to the half year ended 31 December
2018:

-   headline earnings per share of between 239.09 cents and 254.85 cents, corresponding to an
    increase of between 51.7% and 61.7% in comparison to 157.56 cents reported for the half year
    ended 31 December 2017 (“Previous Corresponding Period”); and
- earnings per share of between 221.22 cents and 235.63 cents, corresponding to an increase of
   between 53.5% and 63.5% in comparison to 144.08 cents reported for the Previous
    Corresponding Period.

The information in this trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on by the external
auditors of the Company.

The results for the half year ended 31 December 2018 are expected to be published on or about 19
March 2019.
