CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF PPC (“BOARD”)

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, the Board wishes to inform shareholders of the following change to
the Board.

Appointment of a Non-executive Director to the Board
The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Mark Richard Thompson
as a non-executive director and member of the Audit, Risk and Compliance
Committee of PPC Ltd with effect 1 May 2019.

Mr Thompson holds B.Com, BAcc and LLB degrees and is both a qualified lawyer
and a Chartered Accountant and was formerly Chief Financial Officer and
Executive Director of Sappi Limited.

He was a member of the Sappi Limited board for six years and served on the
boards of Sappi operating subsidiaries in South Africa, the USA, Europe and
Hong Kong, and chaired the Supervisory Board of the Austrian holding company
housing Sappi's non-South African interests. He was the senior executive on
the Sappi Group Audit Committee and a member or Chairman of various subsidiary
Audit and Risk Committees in Europe, the USA, South Africa and Asia.

He currently holds non-executive positions at Rand Merchant Bank (member of
the Audit Committee); FirstRand Insurance Services Company Limited (member
of the Board and Chairman of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee);
Hudaco Industries Limited (member of the Board, Audit Committee, the
Nominations Committee and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee); Rockwood
Private Equity Limited (member of the Rockwood Advisory Panel and a member
of the Board and Audit and Risk Committee of one of its major unlisted
investments); is a Trustee of a medical research foundation and a member of
its Investment Committee; and Chairs the Audit Committee of the Sappi Pension
Fund.
