NOTIFICATION OF AN ACQUISITION OF BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SECURITIES

In compliance with paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements and section 122(3)(b) of the
Companies Act 71 of 2008 (the “Companies Act”), shareholders are advised that Rebosis has received the
following notifications in accordance with section 122(1) of the Companies Act:

•   From Investec Limited (“Investec”), of the acquisition by Investec of Rebosis ordinary shares (“REB Shares”),
    such that the total beneficial interest held by Investec now amounts to 5.0223% of the total number of REB
    Shares in issue; and
•   From Investec Asset Management (Proprietary) Limited (“Investec Asset Management”), on behalf of its
    clients, of the acquisition by Investec Asset Management of REB shares, such that the total beneficial
    interest held by Investec Asset Management, on behalf of its clients, now amounts to 5.0214% of the total
    number of REB Shares in issue.

As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, Rebosis has filed the required notices with the
Takeover Regulation Panel.
