Zernobia Lachporia holds a ND in Company Administration and CIS qualification with the Chartered Secretaries of Southern Africa (“CSSA”). She is a Fellow member of the CSSA and has extensive experience in company secretarial and corporate governance matters, including providing efficient and effective support to the boards of directors and board sub-committees. Zernobia was Assistant Group Secretary of Liberty Holdings for 12 years ensuring statutory compliance and good governance across all subsidiaries, in particular two major subsidiaries, STANLIB Limited and Liberty Two Degrees Limited. She was Assistant Company Secretary of Astral Foods Limited and Company Secretary of Brait South Africa Limited. Zernobia was past president of CSSA and served as a director on the CSSA Board for nine years. The Board is satisfied that Ms Lachporia possesses the competence and experience to fulfil the role.
