The site is currently being examined by the Fire Brigade, Police and representatives of Walthamstow Council. Once this process is complete, and working alongside our insurers, we will be given access to the site to undertake a thorough assessment of the damage, what work is required to make reparations and whether parts of the centre can be opened in advance of commencement of these works. Our aim is to commence these initiatives as soon as practicably possible and will provide a further update once they are concluded, but we cannot speculate on when that will be at this stage. The centre is fully insured for both replacement and loss of income, consistent with our policy across the portfolio. 23 July 2019 JSE sponsor Java Capital Notes to editors: About Capital & Regional plc Capital & Regional is a UK focused specialist property REIT with a strong track record of delivering significant value enhancing retail and leisure asset management opportunities across its c. £0.9 billion portfolio of in-town, dominant community shopping centres.
