TRADING STATEMENT AND LATE RELEASE OF YEAR-END RESULTS

Trading statement

Shareholders are referred to the announcement dated 24 July 2019, in which the Company advised that Ellies expected a
loss per share ("LPS") for the year ended 30 April 2019 of between 3,8 cents and 5,1 cents per share when compared to
the earnings per share ("EPS") of 6,84 cents per share for the year ended 30 April 2018. The Company further advised
that Ellies expected a headline loss per share ("HLPS") for the year ended 30 April 2019 of between 3,0 cent and 4,5
cents compared to the headline earnings per share ("HEPS") of 7,89 cents per share for the year ended 30 April 2018.

Ellies is now in a position to advise shareholders that the LPS for the year ended 30 April 2019 will now be between 3,2
cents and 4 cents per share and HLPS for the year ended 30 April 2019 will be between 2,6 cents and 3,2 cents per share.

The forecast financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by the
Company´s external auditors.

Late release of year-end results

Shareholders are further advised that the release of the Company's results for the year ended 30 April 2019 ("results")
will be delayed due to delays in the finalisation of key audit matters.

It is anticipated that the results will be released on or about Monday, 5 August 2019.
