TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 30 JUNE 2019

In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, a listed company is required to publish a
trading statement as soon as it becomes reasonably certain that the financial results for the
next period to be reported on will differ by 20% or more from the financial results for the
previous corresponding period.

Accordingly, shareholders are advised that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that for the
six months ended 30 June 2019:

    •   earnings per share (“EPS”) will be between 4.7 cents and 5.4 cents, representing an
        increase of between 31% and 50% for the six months ended 30 June 2019 compared
        to EPS of 3.6 cents reported for the six months ended 30 June 2018; and

    •   headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) will be between 4.8 cents and 5.4 cents,
        representing an increase of between 37% and 54% for the six months ended
        30 June 2019 compared to HEPS of 3.5 cents reported for the six months ended
        30 June 2018.

The financial information on which this trading update is based has not been reviewed or
reported on by the Company’s auditors. The interim results for the six months ended 30 June
2019 are expected to be published on or about Monday, 26 August 2019.
