Shareholders are advised that Advanced Health expects to report a net loss after taxation, as per the unaudited financial results for the year ended 30 June 2019, of R37.99 million compared to a loss of R36.25 million for the comparative year ended 30 June 2018 (this equates to a 5% increase in the net loss after tax). The Company expects a loss per share of 15.51 cents and headline loss per share of 10.84 cents for the year ended 30 June 2019 compared to a loss per share of 14.12 cents and headline loss per share of 14.12 cents for the comparative year ended 30 June 2018 (this equates to a 10% increase in the loss per share and 23% improvement in headline loss per share). Presmed Australia made a decision on 5 February 2019 to sell one of its loss-making subsidiaries, Coffs Harbour Day Hospital. This has resulted in an increase in the loss for Advanced Health by R13.45 million which is the loss from the discontinued operation.
