Updated Trading Statement MUSTEK LIMITED (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number 1987/070161/06) Share code: MST ISIN: ZAE000012373 (“Mustek” or “the company”) UPDATED TRADING STATEMENT Shareholders are referred to the trading statement published on SENS on 30 July 2019 where it was announced that for the year ended 30 June 2019, Mustek’s headline earnings per share and basic earnings per share are expected to be at least the same as the headline earnings per share of 104,15 cents and the basic earnings per share of 102,58 cents reported in the previous financial year. The company now has reasonable certainty to provide the range required in terms of Paragraph 3.4(b)(iii)(2) of the JSE Limited’s Listings Requirements. In light of the above, Mustek’s shareholders are informed that, for the year ended 30 June 2019, Mustek’s headline earnings per share is expected to be between 25% and 38% higher than the previous financial year at between 130,19 cents and 143,73 cents (30 June 2018: 104,15 cents). Basic earnings per share is expected to be between 37% and 50% higher than the previous financial year at between 140,53 cents and 153,87 cents (30 June 2018: 102,58 cents). Net asset value per share is expected to be between 1 485 cents and 1 505 cents, compared to 1 348,54 cents as at 30 June 2018.
