ANNOUNCEMENT IN TERMS OF SECTION 122 (1) and (3) of the COMPANIES ACT

In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 (“the Act”) and section 3.83(b)
of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are hereby advised that Alviva has received formal
notification in the prescribed forms from Invesco Canada Limited (“Invesco”) that, on 16 October 2019:

    1. the beneficial interest in the securities of the Company held by Invesco Global Balanced Class EQ
       Fund had increased to 5.07% of the total issued share capital of the Company;
    2. the beneficial interest in the securities of the Company held by Invesco Global Endeavour Class
       Fund had increased to 5.079 % of the total issued share capital of the Company; and
    3. the total holding of all Invesco beneficial interest holdings in the issued share capital of the
       Company had increased to 30.432%.

As required in terms of section 122(3) (a) of the Act, the Company has filed the required notices with the
Takeover Regulation Panel.
