APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In compliance with paragraph 3.59(a) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the Board of
Directors of NVest is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Charl Herselman (“Charl”) as an
Executive Director of the Company with effect from 28 February 2019.

Charl obtained a BCompt undergraduate degree in 2006, followed by a BCompt Honours (Bachelor
of Accounting Science) degree from UNISA in 2007. He passed his SAICA Qualifying Examination in
2009 and IRBA Public Practice Examination in 2010 and was thereafter registered as a Chartered
Accountant.

Prior to joining NVest, Charl was an Office Manager and Associate of an East London based auditing
firm. He joined NVest in 2012 and has served as the Group Accountant and Head: Group Finance,
having grown with the Company since its listing in 2015. In total Charl has 16 years’ work experience
in finance.

Charl is also the Treasurer of the Loaves and Fishes Network, an East London based NPO.

Charl will serve on the Board of NVest as an interim Financial Director while the Company recruits a
permanent Financial Director, having already fulfilled the duties and responsibilities of the Financial
Director since the departure of Glenn Orsmond in May 2019.
