Update on expected date of issue of annual financial results for the year ended 30 June 2019

Shareholders are referred to the announcement dated 25 September 2019, released on the Stock
Exchange News Service of the JSE. Using the terms defined therein, shareholders are advised that
the Company’s annual financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2019 (“Financial Statements”)
will not be issued by the end of October due to a delay in the finalisation of MyBucks’ consolidated
results.

MyBucks comprises a material investment by Ecsponent and consequently, the Company is reliant
on the conclusion of the MyBucks consolidated financial results, before concluding the Ecsponent
Financial Statements

MyBucks’ management and its auditors, have committed to finalising the MyBucks consolidated
financial results during November 2019. Once the MyBucks consolidated financial results are
available, the Company’s appointed auditors will be able to finalise Ecsponent’s Financial Statements.

A further announcement will be made advising shareholders of the expected date of issue of the
Financial Statements in due course.
