TRP121: NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE IN BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SECURITIES


Shareholders are referred to the announcement published on 20 November 2019 in respect of the change in nature of
an associate’s holding in the Company’s securities and are advised that, in compliance with section 122(3)(b) of the
Companies Act, 71 of 2008 (“the Companies Act”), Regulation 121(2)(b) of the Companies Act Regulations 2011
and paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements, Exemplar has received notification from McCormick
Property Development Proprietary Limited (“MPD”) of an acquisition by MPD of Exemplar shares, such that MPD
now holds 60.04% of Exemplar’s total issued shares.

As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, the Company has filed the required notices with the
Takeover Regulation Panel.
