GOLD PRODUCTION UPDATE FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2019
DRDGOLD is pleased to announce that it produced slightly more than 3 tonnes of gold
(3,037 kilograms) from its two operations, Ergo and Far West Gold Recoveries (“FWGR”),
for the six months ended 31 December 2019, tracking the higher end of its production
guidance of 190 000 ounces for the year ending 30 June 2020. The gold production of
3,037 kilograms for the six months ended 31 December 2019 represents a 33% increase
on the gold production of 2,280 kilograms for the six months ended 31 December 2018,
mainly as a result of the increased contribution by FWGR.
