Final Dividend Declaration ANGLO AMERICAN PLATINUM LIMITED (Incorporated in the Republic of South Africa) (Registration number: 1946/022452/06) Share Code: AMS ISIN: ZAE000013181 ("Anglo American Platinum" or “the Company") Anglo American Platinum Dividend Declaration The Board is pleased to advise that at its meeting held on 13 February 2020, the directors approved the declaration of a final gross cash dividend of R41.60 per share on the ordinary shares from profits accrued during the six-month period ended 31 December 2019. The gross divided is made up as follows: ? R16.60 per share representing 40% of the headline earnings in line with the Company’s dividend policy; and ? R25.00 per share being a special cash dividend. The dividend has been declared from retained earnings. The dividend will be subject to a dividend withholding tax of 20% for all shareholders who are not exempt from or do not qualify for a reduced rate of withholding tax. The net dividend payable to shareholders subject to withholding tax at a rate of 20% amounts to: ? R13.28 per share for the final dividend; and ? R20.00 per share for the special cash dividend.
