SABVEST: DONATIONS TO SOLIDARITY FUND AND COVID-19 INITIATIVES

Shareholders are advised that in support of the initiatives of Government leaders and other RSA
Business leaders, all of Sabvest’s non-executive directors and all of its executive directors have
taken salary, benefit and fee reductions of 30% for the three months to June 30. These amounts
will be donated to The Solidarity Fund to assist in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Seabrooke Family Trust, Sabvest’s controlling shareholder, will also donate directly to The
Solidarity Fund and other initiatives.

In addition to Sabvest’s normal education-focused SRI programs, Sabvest itself will allocate an
additional amount to specific Covid-19 programs through the Masimong Foundation.
