CHANGES IN THE BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN METTLE ORDINARY SHARES

In accordance with paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements and section 122(3)(b)
of the Companies Act 71 of 2008 (“the Act”), shareholders are advised of the following changes in
beneficial interest in the ordinary shares of Mettle:

    -   Genfin Holdings Proprietary Limited (“Genfin”) has acquired a beneficial interest in the ordinary
        shares of the Company, such that its total interest in Mettle is now 19.96%.
        When counted with the 12.95% shares in Mettle currently held by Mantessa Equities Proprietary
        Limited (registration number 2015/358994/07) (“Mantessa Equities”), a company which is
        related to Genfin, the aggregate holding of Genfin and Mantessa Equities amounts to 32.91%;
        and
    -   Granadino Investments Proprietary Limited (“Granadino”) has disposed of its beneficial interest
        in the ordinary shares of Mettle, such that its total interest in Mettle has decreased from 37.47%
        to 29.01%% of the Company’s issued ordinary share capital.
        When counted with the shares in Mettle currently held by persons related and inter-related to
        Granadino, the aggregate holding of Granadino and its related and inter-related persons
        decreases from 59.46% to 51.01%.

As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Act, the Company has filed the required notices with the
Takeover Regulation Panel.
