SECTION 122 NOTICE: ACQUISITION OF SHARES

In accordance with Section 3.83(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements, the Company hereby
confirms that it has received a notice in terms of Section 122 of the Companies Act, No.
71 of 2008 (“Companies Act”).

Joseph Investments (Pty) Limited has informed the Company that it has acquired an
additional beneficial interest in the total issued ordinary share capital of South Ocean,
such that the total interest in South Ocean held by Joseph Investments (Pty) Limited now
amounts to 30.56% (previously 20.16%.)

As required in terms of Section 122 (3)(a) of the Companies Act, the Company filed the
the required notices with the Takeover Regulation Panel (“TRP”) on 9 April 2021.

The requisite notice from the seller has been requested and will be announced and filed
with the TRP in due course.
