FINALISATION ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE DECLARATION OF A SPECIAL
DIVIDEND

Shareholders are referred to Barloworld’s interim results for the six months ended 31 March
2021 released on SENS on 24 May 2021 (“Interim Results Announcement”) which included
the declaration of a special dividend in the amount of 200 cents per ordinary share (“Special
Dividend”) subject to the applicable dividends tax levied in terms of the Income Tax Act (Act
58 of 1962) (as amended).

The Interim Results Announcement stated that the Special Dividend is subject to Exchange
Control approval and shareholders are now advised that Exchange Control approval has been
obtained.

The salient dates for the declaration of the Special Dividend remain unchanged as announced
in the Interim Results Announcement.
