APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR TO THE MASTER DRILLING BOARD AND COMMITTEES

In compliance with Section 3.59 (a) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the Master
Drilling Board is pleased to announce:

The appointment of Ms Mamokete Ramathe (Mamokete) as an independent non-executive director to
the Master Drilling Board with effect from 26 July 2021.


Mamokethe is the Founder and CEO of Mamor Capital, an investment company with interests
in the ICT sector. Ramathe is a seasoned investment executive with more than 18 years’
experience in financial services, spanning corporate finance advisory services, private equity,
mergers and acquisitions and infrastructure finance. She possesses hands on entrepreneurial
and top management skills, and her board experience includes serving on local and
international companies, at both listed and unlisted company level.

Mamokete currently serves as a non-executive director of Outsurance Holdings where she is a
member of its Investment Committee, and as a non-executive director of JSE listed Bell
Equipment Limited, where she serves as Chairman of its Social Ethics and Transformation
Committee, and as a member of its Audit Committee.

Shareholders are further advised that simultaneously with Mamokete’s appointment to the Board, she
has also been appointed to the following Master Drilling Board Committees:

     -   Member of the Master Drilling Audit Committee; and
     -   Member and the Chairperson of the Master Drilling Social, Ethics and Sustainability
         Committee.

Following the appointment of Mamokete to the Board, the Master Drilling Board has resolved to
reconstitute the membership of its affected Board Committees as follows:

1.       Master Drilling Audit Committee: Andries Willem Brink (Chairman), Akhter Alli Deshmukh,
         Shane Trevor Ferguson and Mamokete Ramathe.

2.       Master Drilling Social, Ethics and Sustainability Committee (SES Comm): Mamokete
         Ramathe has been appointed as Chairperson of the SES Comm with immediate effect.
         Accordingly, the Master Drilling SES Comm comprises: Mamokete Ramathe (Chairperson),                                                                                                   
        Akhter Alli Deshmukh, Shane Trevor Ferguson, Hendrik Johannes Faul and Eddie George
        Dixon.

The Board looks forward to Mamokete’s contributions to the Master Drilling Board and Committees.
