TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 30 JUNE 2021

In accordance with section 3.4(b) of the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised of the
following expectations regarding Sasfin’s financial results for the year ended 30 June 2021:

-   headline earnings per share of between 420 cents and 451 cents compared to the loss per share
    for the previous corresponding period of 151.00 cents (representing an improvement of more than
    100%); and
-   earnings per share of between 231 cents and 248 cents compared to the loss per share for the
    previous corresponding period of 186.90 cents (representing an improvement of more than 100%).

The information in this trading statement has not been reviewed or reported on by the external
auditors of the Company.

The financial results for the full year ended 30 June 2021 are expected to be published on or about 31
August 2021.
