Perdaman Awards The Epc Contract For Its Approximately Us$2,7 Billion Urea Plant To The
Clough Saipem Joint Venture

Shareholders are referred to the Group’s announcement on 1 July 2020 regarding the Clough Saipem
(50/50) joint venture being selected as the engineering, procurement, and construction (“EPC”) contractor
for the development of Perdaman Industries’ multi-billion Australian dollar urea plant in Western Australia.
The project was subject to the final investment decision at the time of this announcement.

Murray & Roberts is proud to announce that the Clough Saipem joint venture has now been awarded the
EPC contract for this project. The scope of work includes engineering, procurement, construction, and
commissioning of the 2.14 million tonnes per annum urea plant, including all urea storage and loadout
facilities, a water treatment plant, a 100MW power plant, renewable power and seven kilometers of closed
conveyor to the Pilbara port. The project is expected to commence during the third quarter of the 2022
calendar year.

Clough’s share of the contract value is circa R22 billion, increasing the Group’s order book to an all-time
high of circa R80 billion. Upon award, this multi-year project will complement the Group’s significant order
book and extend its secured revenue base into the medium-to-long term.
