Chris qualified with a B.Com in 2000 from the University of Natal. He also holds an MBA from the University of KwaZulu Natal and is an admitted Member of the South African Institute of Stockbrokers. Chris started his working career with the Nedbank Group in Durban. He then spent a year living and working in London before returning to Sasfin Securities in East London as a Portfolio Manager from 2006 to 2008. Towards the end of 2008, Sasfin Securities’ East London branch was bought out by NVest Financial Holdings and became NVest Securities where Chris worked as a Director, Stockbroker and Settlement Officer until the end of 2010. From January 2011 to October 2016, Chris worked at Sasfin Securities in various capacities including Portfolio Manager, Branch Manager (Johannesburg), Head of Portfolio Management and Head: Private Clients at Sasfin Asset Managers, as well as having served on the Board of Sasfin Securities. Chris rejoined the group at the beginning of November 2016 as Managing Director of NVest Securities. Chris currently serves on the Executive Committee of NVest.
