NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT OF BUSINESS RESCUE AND APPOINTMENT OF BUSINESS RESCUE PRACTITIONER


Shareholders are referred to the SENS announcement released on 31 January 2024 wherein the
Company advised, inter alia, that the board of directors of Ellies (the "board") had resolved that it
would be in the best interims of the Company to commence with voluntary business rescue proceedings
in terms of section 129 (1) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008.

The board resolution and sworn statement in this regard were filed with the Companies and Intellectual
Property Commission ("CIPC") on 31 January 2024, and on 1 February 2024, the Company appointed
John Evans as its business rescue practitioner. The relevant notices and supporting documents with
regard to the appointment of the business rescue practitioner have been filed with CIPC.

Notice of Appointment of Business Rescue Practitioner, together with the resolution and sworn
statement of the board in this regard, are available on the Company's website at
