CORRECTION ANNOUNCEMENT: DISCLOSURE OF SIGNIFICANT HOLDING OF SAPPI ORDINARY SHARES
Shareholders are referred to the announcement released on the Stock Exchange News Service
of the JSE on 29 February 2024 (the "Announcement") in which reference was made that the
Company received formal notification that the Public Investment Corporation SOC Ltd ('PIC') has
increased its interest in the ordinary shares of the Company such that the total beneficial interest
in the ordinary shares of the Company held by the PIC amounts to 20.018% of the total issued
ordinary share capital of the Company.
Shareholders are advised that the Announcement incorrectly stated that the date of receipt of the
formal notification from the PIC was 15 November 2023 which should instead have been
28 February 2024.
All other information contained in the Announcement remains unchanged.
The board of directors of Sappi accepts responsibility for the information contained in this
announcement as it relates to the Company and confirms that, to the best of its knowledge and
belief, such information relating to Sappi is true and that this announcement does not omit
anything likely to affect the importance of such information.
