TRADING STATEMENT AND OPERATIONAL UPDATE

TRADING STATEMENT

In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, a listed company is required to publish a trading statement as soon
as it is satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period to be reported on
next will differ by at least 20% from the financial results for the previous corresponding period.

Shareholders of Quantum Foods ("Shareholders") are hereby advised that for the six months ended 31 March 2024
("Current Reporting Period") a reasonable degree of certainty exists that:

•   headline earnings per share ("HEPS") of the Company is expected to increase from 2.9 cents reported for the six
    months ended 31 March 2023 ("Previous Corresponding Period") to between 21.4 cents and 21.9 cents; and
•   earnings per share ("EPS") of the Company is expected to increase from 2.9 cents reported for the Previous
    Corresponding Period to between 21.8 cents and 22.3 cents.

OPERATIONAL UPDATE

Shareholders are referred to the voluntary operational update for the 4 months ended 31 January 2024 published by the
Company on SENS on 23 February 2024 ("Trading Update") and are advised that in the subsequent 2 month period
from 1 February 2024 to 31 March 2024, there were no material changes in the Company's operations to what was
disclosed in the Trading Update. In addition, no further Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza outbreaks occurred up to the
end of the Current Reporting Period.
