PASSING OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR – BRIDGITTE MATHEWS

The KAL Group board of directors ("Board") is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of
Bridgitte Mathews, an independent non-executive director of the Company and member of the
audit and risk and social and ethics committees on 12 August 2026.

Bridgitte made an invaluable contribution to the Company through her extensive corporate
experience, thoughtful leadership and steadfast commitment to ethical and effective
governance. She was widely respected for her integrity, wisdom and considered approach,
and her contribution extended well beyond her formal responsibilities as a director.

The Board extends its sincere condolences to Bridgitte's family and loved ones and stands
with them in mourning her loss. She will be remembered with great respect and gratitude for
the lasting contribution she made to the KAL Group.
