INITIAL TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, an issuer is required to publish a trading statement
as soon as it is satisfied that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the
period to be reported upon next will differ by at least 20% from those of the previous corresponding
period.
Shareholders are accordingly advised that the Company expects to report a return to profitability for the
six month period ended 31 August 2026, with both earnings per share ("EPS") and headline earnings
per share ("HEPS") expected to be in a profit positive territory, compared to the loss per share (“LPS”)
and headline loss per share (“HLPS”) reported for the six months ended 31 August 2025 (“Previous
Corresponding Period”).
The Company hereby advises that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that, for the six month period
ended 31 August 2026 (“Current Period”):
- EPS will increase by at least 100%, which is an increase of 2.69 cents when compared to the LPS
of 2.69 cents for the Previous Corresponding Period; and
- HEPS will increase by at least 100%, which is an increase of at least 1.30 cents per share, when
compared to the HLPS of 1.30 cents for the Previous Corresponding Period.
A further trading statement, as required in terms of the JSE Listings Requirements, will be released on
SENS as soon as the Company has a reasonable degree of certainty on the expected EPS and HEPS
ranges or numbers for the Current Period.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed nor reported
on by the Company’s external auditors. The Current Period results are expected to be published before
end of October 2026.
