DISCLOSURE OF ACQUISITION OF SECURITIES IN CLICKS GROUP LIMITED

The Company has received notice from Allan Gray Proprietary Limited (“Allan Gray”)
that clients of Allan Gray have acquired a beneficial interest in ordinary shares in the
Company. Following the acquisition, Allan Gray now holds 5.156% of the ordinary
shares in issue on behalf of its clients.

The Company has filed the required notice with the Takeover Regulation Panel, per
section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, 2008.

The board of directors accepts responsibility for the information contained in this
