APPOINTMENT OF INTERIM BOARD CHAIRMAN AND CHANGES TO BOARD COMMITTEES
Further to the announcement released on SENS on 14 October 2024 regarding the passing of Mr Tito
Mboweni, the independent non-executive chairman of the Accelerate board of directors (the "board"),
shareholders and noteholders are advised, in compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings
Requirements and paragraph 6.42 of the JSE Limited Debt and Specialist Securities Listings
Requirements, that the board has appointed Mr James Templeton as the interim chairman of the board
with effect from 03 December 2024, pending the appointment of a permanent chairman.


Consequently, Mr Templeton ceases to be a member of the audit and risk committee and assumes the
chairmanship of the nominations committee.


Mr Templeton was first appointed to the board on 01 February 2022 as a non-executive director, and
Mr Derick van der Merwe will continue to serve as the company's lead independent director.
