FURTHER TRADING STATEMENT
In terms of paragraph 6.26 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that the
financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by at least 20% from that of the
previous corresponding period.
Further to the voluntary trading update and initial trading statement released on SENS on
18 March 2026, wherein Astral outlined the factors that have contributed to an increase in the
Group's results, shareholders are now advised that the Group has a reasonable degree of
certainty that, for the six months ended 31 March 2026 ("1H2026"):
• earnings per share ("EPS") is expected to increase between 375% and 395% compared
to the six months ended 31 March 2025 ("1H2025" or "prior comparable period"). This
will result in an EPS of between 2 242 cents and 2 336 cents per share (1H2025: 472
cents per share); and
• headline earnings per share ("HEPS") is expected to increase between 450% and 470%
compared to the prior comparable period. This will result in a HEPS of between 2 250
cents and 2 331 cents per share (1H2025: 409 cents per share).
The financial information contained in this announcement has not been reviewed and reported
on by the Group's auditors.
It is expected that the results for the 1H2026 will be published on SENS on or about Monday,
18 May 2026.
