TRADING STATEMENT FOR THE 6 MONTH PERIOD ENDED 30 SEPTEMBER 2024

In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they become reasonably certain that the
financial results for the period to be reported on next will differ by at least 20% from those of
the previous corresponding period.

Shareholders are advised that the Company expects the following to be reported for the six-
month period ended 30 September 2024:

   •   Headline earnings per share of US$6.2 cents per share compared to headline earnings
       of US$2.2 cents per share in the six-month period to 30 September 2023
   •   Basic earnings per share of US$6.2 cents compared to basic earnings of US$2.2 cent
       per share in the six-month period to 30 September 2023.

The reasons for the expected increases are due to an increase in profits from the trading and
property operations and gains on the disposal of investments.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or
reported on by the Company's auditors.

The Company's interim results for the six-month period ended 30 September 2024 are
expected to be published on or about 17 December 2024.
