CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING ACQUISTION OF REMANING 24.5 % OF
CLASSIC INTERNATIONAL


Shareholders are advised that the Company is in at an advanced stage of discussions
regarding a proposed transaction in terms of which Labat Africa intends acquiring the
remaining 24.45% shareholding in Classic International Trading (Pty) Ltd ("Classic"), which
transaction, if successfully concluded, may have a material effect on the price of the
Company's securities.

The proposed acquisition follows a strong financial performance by Classic during the
current financial year which underpins the strong results Labat has produced and will be
producing and forms part of Labat Africa's broader strategic objectives to further
consolidate and enhance its interests within its high-growth operating subsidiaries.

The proposed transaction remains subject to the conclusion of definitive agreements, the
fulfilment of customary conditions precedent and the receipt of all necessary regulatory
and corporate approvals.

Accordingly, shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the
Company's securities until a further announcement is made. Final details of the proposed
transaction will be announced in due course.
