APPOINTMENT OF MS AUDREY MOTHUPI PALMSTIERNA AS AN INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The board is delighted to announce that Ms Audrey Mothupi Palmstierna has been
appointed as an independent non-executive director to the Sun International main board with
effect from 15 April 2026.
Audrey is a seasoned executive entrepreneur with 25 years of business experience. She
currently serves as the chief executive officer of the South African based SystemicLogic
Group, a global financial innovation, data and technology disruptor. In this capacity, Audrey
leads a successful team that offers end-to-end service solutions to enable radical and
innovative execution in markets that desperately need re-framing, with a full suite of data
and technical skills and capabilities including accredited training, bespoke enterprise
systems and solution architecture services.
Audrey, who holds a BA (Hons) in Political Science from Trent University, as well as an
Executive Certificate in A1 and Machine Learning from the MIT Sloan School of
Management, is a board member of the International Women's Forum of South Africa, a
member of the International Women's Forum, as well as a SIGA Women Global Mentor and
Counsel member. In 2015, Audrey was granted honorary membership for academic and
leadership excellence from the Golden Key International Honours Society and was also
recognised as both country and SADC regional winner in the ICT sector for the CEO Global
Influential Women in Business and Government and was awarded the Continental Winner in
the ICT sector in 2018.
In addition to serving as the chief executive officer of the SystemicLogic Group, Audrey is an
independent non-executive director on the boards of Pick 'n Pay (until August 2026 when
she retires) and Life Healthcare Group and previously served on the board of Altona Plc.
A fit and proper assessment, as contemplated in paragraph 5.6 of the JSE Listings
Requirements, was conducted and the board is satisfied with the outcome thereof. Sun
International further confirms that there is nothing to report in respect of the integrity
information contained in Audrey's director's declaration.
The board takes this opportunity of welcoming Audrey to the Sun International board and
looks forward to her contribution to the group.
