APPOINTMENTS TO THE BOARD

In compliance with paragraph 6.71 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements ("Listings Requirements"),
shareholders are advised that the Implats board of directors ("the board") has appointed Messrs July
Ndlovu and Lucky Kgatle as independent non-executive directors of the board, effective 1 May 2026.

July Ndlovu
Mr July Ndlovu is a seasoned mining executive with a distinguished career spanning business leadership
in the mining sector. He previously served as chief executive officer ("CEO") of Thungela Resources
Limited and currently serves as chairman of the International Energy Agency Coal Industry Advisory
Board. He is an independent non-executive director of AECI Limited and Caledonia Mining Corporation
Plc. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe, a
Senior Executive Programme certificate from Columbia Business School, a Business Leadership
Programme certificate from Duke University and a Master of Business Leadership (MBL) from the
University of South Africa.

Lucky Kgatle
Mr Lucky Kgatle is a seasoned mining executive with over 20 years' experience across operational,
strategic and leadership roles in the mining industry. He previously served as senior vice president of
Sasol Mining, where he oversaw large-scale operations producing approximately 40 million tonnes of
thermal coal annually and a workforce of more than 13 000 employees. He is the founder and CEO of
Tlou Holdings and Tlou Commodities, investment platforms focused on sectors critical to African
development, including mining, energy, infrastructure and agriculture. He holds a Bachelor of Science
in Engineering (Industrial) from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Master of Business
Administration (MBA) from the Gordon Institute of Business Science.

The board confirms that fit-and-proper assessments were conducted and it is satisfied that each
appointee meets the requisite standards of competence, experience and integrity required to serve as a
director of the Company. No matters are required to be disclosed in terms of paragraph 6.74 of the
Listings Requirements.

The board welcomes the appointments and looks forward to the contribution of Messrs Ndlovu and
Kgatle in strengthening Company governance, oversight and strategic capability.
