Quilter plc (the “Company”) announces today it has purchased the following specified number of its ordinary shares of
8 1/6 pence each from Merrill Lynch International as an “on Exchange” transaction subject to the rules of the London
Stock Exchange, and the following specified number of its ordinary shares of 8 1/6 pence (Sterling) each from the
Johannesburg Stock Exchange via Merrill Lynch International. (1)

(including dealing and associated costs) of £3,196,625.07.

Following the above transactions, the Company has 1,364,532,863 ordinary shares in issue and holds no ordinary
shares in treasury.
