APPOINTMENT OF MEMBER OF THE INVESTMENT COMMITTEE

Shareholders are advised that André Francois Pieterse, has been appointed as a Member of Vunani’s
Investment Committee with effect from 1 July 2019. André has not been appointed as member of
board of directors of Vunani.

André has over 30 years’ financial services experience in Investment Banking and Corporate Advisory.
During his career André was party to and instrumental in the conclusion of transactions including all
forms of debt and equity with a value of circa R 25 billion. André left banking at the end of 2009 where
at the time he was Managing Principal/CEO and Head of Private Equity - Absa Capital. Prior to joining
Absa Capital, André was head of Structured Debt and Debt Solutions at Nedbank Capital. He is
currently serving as the Managing Directors of Quadran Capital (Pty) Limited.
The board believes that André will add a lot of value in guiding the business to achieve its goals.
