APPOINTMENT OF AN INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The board of directors of Reunert (“Board”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Pierre Fourie to
the Board as an independent non-executive director, with effect from 1 October 2019.

He will also serve as a member of the Audit, Risk, and Investment Committees. He will succeed
Mr Rynhardt van Rooyen as chair of the Audit Committee when Rynhardt retires at Reunert’s annual
general meeting in February 2020.

Pierre is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) and has been an audit partner with KPMG Incorporated
(“KPMG”) since 1990. He served on the board of directors of KPMG, and as interim chairman at various
times. He also chaired a number of the firm’s committees, including its audit, social and ethics,
nomination and remuneration, and transformation committees. Pierre has also served as a member of the

He has a distinguished career in which he served in various leadership roles and gained valuable
experience in a wide range of activities, including International Financial Reporting Standards, JSE
reporting requirements, assurance, governance oversight, enterprise risk management, compliance and
strategy design and implementation.

The Board welcomes Pierre to Reunert and is looking forward to benefitting from his considerable
knowledge and extensive experience.
