CHANGES TO THE CURRO EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP

Shareholders are hereby advised that, in accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited
Listings Requirements, Mr. Bernardt van der Linde (“Bernardt”), the current chief financial
officer and an executive director of the Company, has been promoted to Executive: Business
Operations, with effect from 1 January 2021.

In this role, Bernardt will lead Curro’s Select schools (schools acquired by the Group), as well
as developments within the Group’s information technology and business improvement teams.
Under Bernardt’s leadership Curro has already established its DigiEd schools in Cape Town
and Gauteng (where teachers and tutors provide one-on-one assistance to learners through
classroom-based e-learning tools), and launched Curro Online, a fully online-based school
curriculum for learners from Grade 4 to Grade 9.

Curro’s chief executive officer, Mr. Andries Greyling, congratulated Bernardt on behalf of the
board of directors of the Company (“the Board”), stating “Bernardt has made a tremendous
contribution to the group over the past few years, there is no doubt in my mind that under his
leadership our new initiatives will grow from strength to strength”.

Furthermore, the Board is pleased to announce that Mr. Cobus Loubser (“Cobus”), the
current chief executive officer of the Holdsport group (“Holdsport”), will succeed Bernardt as
chief financial officer of Curro, effective 1 January 2021, and will be appointed as an executive
director on such date.

Cobus holds the qualifications BCom Honours (Accounting) and CA(SA), and has extensive
experience in financial management, corporate governance, logistics, acquisitions and
investor relations. Prior to his current role as chief executive officer, Cobus served as the
chief financial officer of Holdsport from 2007 until 2018. As chief financial officer, his
responsibilities included managing the 2011 listing and the eventual 2017 de-listing when
Holdsport was acquired by Long4Life Limited, the lifestyle-focused business listed on the
JSE Limited.

The Board welcomes Cobus and looks forward to his contribution to the Company.
