CONDENSED CONSOLIDATED INTERIM FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE SIX MONTHS
ENDED 30 SEPTEMBER 2020

The board of directors of Nictus (the “directors”) announce the condensed consolidated interim
financial statements for the six months ended 30 September 2020. This short-form announcement is
only a summary of the full announcement which is published on our website and accessible via the
JSE link (as mentioned below) and which is available for inspection at our registered office and the
offices of our JSE sponsor, at no charge and during standard business hours. Copies of the full

Some financial and salient indicators of the six months ended 30 September 2020 include:

-   Group revenue increased by 0.4% to R26,5 million (2019: R26.4 million);
-   Basic earnings per share for the period increased by 76,4% to 10,11 cents per share, compared
    to the restated* comparative period of 5,73 cents per share; and
-   Headline earnings per share for the period increased by 76,4% to 10,11 cents per share,
    compared to the restated* comparative period of 5,73 cents per share.

Note:
* The Group has restated certain financial figures in the financial results for the six months ended
30 September 2019 to, inter alia, conservatively reflect the financial position and operating results of the Group,
by recognising the deferred tax liability as calculated by the individual entities within the Group, prior to
consolidation. A detailed assessment and impact of the restatements are contained in the full results
announcement of the Group.

Dividend
No interim dividend was declared for either the current or the comparative prior period. The board
declared a final gross cash dividend of 3,00 cents per ordinary share for the year ended
31 March 2020 on Friday, 11 September 2020, to all ordinary shareholders recorded in the share
register of Nictus at the close of business on Friday, 2 October 2020. The dividend was paid on
Monday, 5 October 2020.
