APPOINTMENT OF INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Clicks Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Penny Moumakwa
as an independent non-executive director with effect from 1 April 2021.

Dr Moumakwa (56) is a medical doctor with extensive senior executive
experience in both the private and public healthcare sectors.

During her 13-year career at Discovery Dr Moumakwa held senior executive
positions and was an executive director of Discovery Health and an executive
committee member of Discovery Holdings. Prior to joining Discovery, she served
as the CEO of the Board of Healthcare Funders of Southern Africa for three
years and CEO of the Transmed Medical Fund for four years. Dr Moumakwa is
currently the CEO of investment holding company, Mohau Equity Partners, which
she founded in 2018.

She is a non-executive director of RCL Foods, Growthpoint Healthcare Property
Holdings, Wits University Donald Gordon Medical Centre and the Witkoppen
Health and Welfare Centre.

Clicks Group chairman David Nurek said: “Dr Moumakwa’s professional
background and wide-ranging experience across multiple areas of the healthcare
sector will be highly relevant to our board. She is an experienced director and we
look forward to benefiting from her knowledge and insight.”

Following the appointment of Dr Moumakwa, the Clicks Group board will
comprise seven independent non-executive directors and three executive
directors, with 60% black and 40% female representation on the board.
