Dr Moumakwa (56) is a medical doctor with extensive senior executive experience in both the private and public healthcare sectors. During her 13-year career at Discovery Dr Moumakwa held senior executive positions and was an executive director of Discovery Health and an executive committee member of Discovery Holdings. Prior to joining Discovery, she served as the CEO of the Board of Healthcare Funders of Southern Africa for three years and CEO of the Transmed Medical Fund for four years. Dr Moumakwa is currently the CEO of investment holding company, Mohau Equity Partners, which she founded in 2018. She is a non-executive director of RCL Foods, Growthpoint Healthcare Property Holdings, Wits University Donald Gordon Medical Centre and the Witkoppen Health and Welfare Centre.
