UNAUDITED CONDENSED CONSOLIDATED INTERIM FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 30 SEPTEMBER 2021


The Group’s financial metrics compared to the prior six-month period reflect the effect of the initiatives
implemented to stabilise the business and are set out below:

• Total assets decreased by 17% to R587 million compared to R705 million;
• Total liabilities increased by 1% to R886 million compared to R877 million;
• Revenue decreased by 63% to 10 million compared to 29 million;
• Operating losses decreased by 64% to 123 million compared to 341 million;
• Loss per share (“LPS”) improved by 80% to a LPS of 0.205 cents per share compared to 1.003 cents per share;
• Headline loss per share (“HLPS”) improved by 79% to a HLPS of 0.212 cents per share compared to
  0.988 cents per share;
• Credit impairments increased by 659% to R75 million compared to R10 million; and
• Fair value losses decreased by 86% to a loss of R39 million compared to a loss of R292 million.

No dividend has been declared for the interim 2021 financial period: (FY2020: RNil).
