Investors are further advised that Absa Group and Absa Bank have restated its previously published
audited group and company annual financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2021.

For comprehensive details regarding the restatements, kindly refer to the notes 1.21 for Absa Group
and the notes 1.19 and 39.1 for Absa Bank, respectively, as fully set out in the annual financial
statements for the year ended 31 December 2022.
